I love Chasing Rainbows – the reward at the end of the rain! This kit from DJE Handwovens features 6 colors of our Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn and makes 4 napkins.  The napkins are fun color play and can be woven on rigid heddle (need two 8 dent heddles) or 2-shaft table and floor looms. With the warp already wound, this is a fast and easy weave for all experience levels. Can’t bring yourself to use the napkins? It can be a lovely table runner or set of 2 placements or towels.

Waterfall Towels

This towel kit from DJE Handwovens features American Maid™ naturally colored cotton yarn (natural white yarn for the warp with either dark green or dark brown for the weft).   The resulting towels are silky soft and absorbent that are a pleasure to use! And the colors deepen with washing!  The kit contains enough yarn to weave two towels and has instructions to weave them on an 8-shaft loom.

American Maid Wash Cloth Kit

Looking for a quick project to make for gifts or to give yourself a little indulgence?  How about everything you need to make some soft, naturally colored washcloths?  We have included instructions to make these washcloths on either a rigid heddle loom or a 4-shaft loom.  The washcloths are made with natural white as the warp and colors for the weft. The finished sizes of the washcloths are approximately 10” x 10”.   You can choose to make 2 or 10 washcloths.

Seaside Towels

We have used the wonderful color palette of the Maurice Brassard unmercerized cotton yarns to dream up the colorways for these soft towels.

RIGID HEDDLE KIT:  Included with the kit are instructions to make two plaid towels using a rigid heddle loom:  one woven in plain weave, and one woven in a soft pickup pattern.  The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 12.5” x 20”.

4 SHAFT KIT:  Enough yarn to make 4 delightful plaid towels: two woven in plain weave, and two woven in rosepath pattern.  Includes 4 shaft instructions.  The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 18” x 26”.

Kitchen Set with a Sense of Place

Weave a whole set for your table with one loom set up!  Create 4 placemats and 4 napkins as well as a dishtowel.  The placemats are woven in rep weave, and the napkins and towels can be woven in plain weave, twill, or block weaves.  All you have to do after weaving the napkins and towels is to resley your loom to narrow the warp for the placemats. You can weave these on 2, 4, or 8+ harness looms.  Available in 4 colorways.

American Maid Sampler

Have a sample of the finest American Maid™, Naturally Colored Cotton Yarns.  All of the yarns are made from colors of cotton that come straight from the plant.  Add some baking soda to your wash water and watch the colors deepen.  All samplers come with 1.5 oz cones of natural white, dark brown, light brown, dark green, light green and bleached white yarns.  There is enough yarn to weave a couple napkins, or add a cone of white to the sampler kit, and weave a towel in each of the 5 colors of yarn!
