This is a loosely cabled 4-ply yarn made from 4 strands of 10/2 American Maid™ cotton yarn.  It is a fun and interesting yarn.  Amber has been playing with it in crochet projects and loves using it.  When it is gone, we will not be restocking this yarn.  Get it while it lasts!

Available on 8oz cones.  Each cone contains approximately 525 yards.  Enough for 5 washcloths or what ever else you want to make with it!

*As of 2022, the 20/2 size is only available as a NON-American Made yarn.  The cotton in the 20/2 yarn currently comes from Egypt.  All the other yarn sizes are 100% American Made.

Step into the colors of the Seasons!  By weaving on a natural white warp made from our American Maid™ unmercerized Cotton yarns, you can create 4 distinctly different colored towels.  The weft yarn is 8/2 unmercerized cotton yarn from Maurice Brassard.  The instructions include 4 different treadlings using the same draft, so no need to rethread to create entirely different towels.  These towels will bring a riot of color to your kitchen or bath!  4 and 8-shaft instructions.  4 different 8-shaft treadlings, 1 4-shaft treadling.

This overshot name draft kit by dje Handwovens uses our very own American Maid™ natural color cotton yarns.

The natural color green or golden tan cottons used for the pattern get darker with washing! Warp length allows for 20″ thrum waste plus allowances for take-up, tie on. Maximum weaving length is 76″. Finished width: 13″

These 4 towels are soft and absorbent!  Just what the Handmaiden ordered.  Three shades of our own American Maid™ Naturally Colored Cotton combine in an 8-harness weave with 2 twill-blocks to make a sophisticated towel that is fun and easy to weave.  The Dark Brown and Light Brown yarns will darken overtime instead of the usual fading. How wonderful is that? These yarns are beautiful together and we hope these lovely towels are as fun to weave as they are to use.
