Description
This kit takes the concept of a color gamp to a new level! Not only do you get to see how the 20 Tubular SpectrumTM colors interact with each other in a color gamp, but you also get to see how very different the colors look with a multitude of woven structures. You warp your loom once, and then by changing the treadling, you can have 8 radically different, yet related napkins. Weaving these napkins uses all the Tubular Spectrum yarn and allows for very little waste. We calculate 22 inches woven on the loom per napkin, 10% take up, and 32” loom waste.
We have included 10 variations of 4 harness treadlings, and 17 variations of 8 harness treadlings with the instructions. We know there are more out there, and encourage you to find more and try them all!
Each 1.5 oz cone contains approximately 400 yards of yarn.
You will receive 1 cone of each of the following original Tubular Spectrum™ colors:
10 Yellow, 5 Yellow, 10 Yellow Red, 5 Yellow Red, 10 Red, 5 Red, 10 Red Purple, 5 Red Purple, 10 Purple, 5 Purple, 10 Purple Blue, 5 Purple Blue, 10 Blue, 5 Blue, 10 Blue Green, 5 Blue Green, 10 Green, 5 Green, 10 Green Yellow and 5 Green Yellow.
Listen to the Loon! Difficulty level for this kit is Intermediate to Advanced (Two fish). This is a Four or Eight harness kit.

This was a very fun project. I recently completed it and really learned a lot about color interaction and pattern. The napkins turned out so nice and everyone comments on how colorful they are. I wove the hems with sewing thread which made them very nice without much bulk. I highly recommend this kit for a fun weaving experience.
