Want a Color Gamp that is both functional and beautiful?  This is it! Finished towels are approximately 12.5” x 24”. The 5/2 yarn is doubled in each dent and doubled when weaving to make a balanced basket weave structure.

Essential Towels Instructions

Weave two completely different and stunning towels from the same warp on your 4-shaft loom.  Pattern spots are interspersed with sections of plain weave for maximum color blending.  We have included instructions to make two striped towels using our 5/2 Tubular Spectrum yarns.  The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 15.5” x 24”.  Thank you to Deb Essen for the wonderful design!

TNT Color Shawl Instructions

These are the ultimate gamps!  Use 37 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn Colors to create a softly colored gamp, and an amazing shawl that shows off the explosion of Tubular Spectrum colors!  The gamp is approximately 22” square when woven, and the shawl is approximately 22” x 75” plus fringe.  One 4-shaft huck boxes and one 8-shaft twill block instructions are included.

Chasing Rainbows Napkin Kit

This kit from DJE Handwovens features 6 colors of our Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn and makes 4 napkins.  The napkins are fun color play and can be woven on rigid heddle (need two 8 dent heddles) or 2-shaft table and floor looms. With the warp already wound, this is a fast and easy weave for all experience levels. Can’t bring yourself to use the napkins? It can be a lovely table runner or set of 2 placements or towels.

Gray Matter Scarves

Make two scarves, one for you, and one for a friend.   All the mercerized yarn and instructions to make two scarves that shift through 7 shades of gray from white to black. The finished size of each scarf is approximately 8” x 60” plus 4” fringe on either end.  The texture of the scarves is made by using a 3-shaft pattern (with use of a pickup stick if you have a rigid heddle loom), and the scarves are very soft and supple.

Five evenly spaced gray yarns along with black and white create a 7 value gradient study.  Use alone for a great study of value, or to highlight a color or double the gray yarns with a color to tone the color down incrementally.  All of the kits come with instructions to make 4 napkins.

The kit contains 12 cones of our Tubular Spectrum colors in mercerized cotton.  The colors included in the kit are: 5 Purple, 5 Red Purple, 5 Red, 10 Red, 5 Yellow Red, 10 Yellow Red, 5 Yellow, 5 Green Yellow, 10 Green, 10 Blue Green, 10 Blue, 10 Purple Blue. Minimal instructions are included with this kit. Yarn is 100% mercerized cotton dyed with fiber reactive dyes to minimize fading and bleeding of the colors.
