Oh! How we love hemp dishtowels! These are pretty enough for company (or those special gifts!) and sure to be a favorite at home for their brilliant colors and absorbency. These overshot wonders are a combination of Tubular Spectrum™ cotton and our Lyte™ Hemp yarns, the best combination for thirsty towels. Instructions to make the ShadowPlay Towels. Designed by Master Weaver, Rebecca Winter, these towels use 10 colors of Tubular Spectrum™ to make colorful and exquisitely patterned towels. The Shadow weave offers a wonderfully study drape for these colorful towels, and the blend of plain weave and feather stitching creates a fabulous texture. 3 different treadlings allow you to create 3 unique towels. Splash! Towel Kit
Make a Splash! You will be the envy of everyone at the pool, the beach, the spa or even in your own bathroom! This kit makes two towels woven with soft 10/2 American Maid ™ unmercerized cotton warp and amazing, Lyte Hemp™ weft yarn. An 8-shaft Crepe weave structure from the incredible Alice Schlein makes these towels as absorbent as they are gorgeous! (Finished size approximately 28” x 48”). If you are choosing your own colors, you will receive bleached yarn in the kit, you choose 2 colors from the selection shown, and write those colors in the comments when you order the kit.

Chameleon Ombre Scarf Kit
Changing Colors! Blend three colors of yarn across the warp and weft to make a lovely scarf that gently shifts color from one edge to the other. These scarves are designed to give you this fun color experience on either your Rigid Heddle or 4-shaft Loom! Have fun and change color!

Toasty Turned Taquete Cowl Instructions
Warm up the cold days with three toasty warm cowls!! These instructions will have you weave three different weft colors to get 3 different, yet related cowls. Using a 4-shaft loom, 5/2 Tubular Spectrum™ Mercerized cotton yarn and ONE SHUTTLE, these toasty turned taquete cowls are as fun to weave as they are to wear. Brew a pot of tea and get comfy.

This one-shuttle Turned Taquete (aka Jin) weave structure makes towels to match the season. This kit comes with enough yarn to make four dishtowels. With this 8-shaft pattern, you can make both the towels with the circles and the towels with the blocks. Thanks to Susan Poague who designed the circle draft. Her original towels can be found in Handwoven May/June 2019. Choose either 4 or 8-shaft instructions.

Weekend Washcloth Instructions
Instructions for the Weekend Washcloths. Looking for a quick project to use the wonderful 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ yarns? How about a pile of washcloths from three brilliant colors of yarn? Three colors of yarn build an interesting warp that you can weave with a solid weft or make fun plaids. The finished sizes of the washcloths are approximately 10” x 10”. Instructions use three 4 oz cones of 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ Mercerized Yarn and are written for Rigid Heddle or 4-shaft looms.
