- 4 Towels (each approximately 20” x 30” finished)
- 8-harness draft (we do have one 4 shaft draft included)
- 22 EPI, 22 PPI
- Warp length: 5 yards (Allows for 36” loom (thrum) waste)
- 25” in reed
- Listen to the Loon: 2 Fish, 4-8 Harness pattern (There are 4 treadlings for 8-shaft looms, and one treadling for 4-shaft looms)
Equipment needed:
- 4 or 8-shaft loom with at least 24” weaving width (more choices available for 8 shaft looms)
- 2 shuttles, 4 bobbins
- 8 dent reed
- Warp yarn: 8/2 American Maid™ Unmercerized Natural White, 1 lb cone
- Weft yarn: 8/2 Unmercerized Cotton Yarn, one 4 oz cone of each of 4 colors

Mary has been teaching weaving for 40 years and has done extensive production weaving, reproduction coverlets, one of a kind garments, and limited-edition hand-painted scarves. She has written for Weaver’s Magazine, Handwoven, Spindle, Shuttle and Dyepot and Spin-Off. In 2006 Mary earned the prestigious Certificate of Excellence from the Handweavers Guild of America. Mary lives in Eagle, Idaho.
