Best of Both World Towel WIF files
These WIF files are for the Best of Both World Towel Kits. Use them in your computer software to start weaving right away!
We have the files available for each of the colorways. With each colorway, will receive 2 WIF files: one for the 4-shaft draft, and one for the 8-shaft draft. If you would like the yarn and instructions to make these towels click here for the Best of Both World (50% cotton, 50% hemp) towels. These WIF files show the complete towel including the hems.

Sweetheart Towels
Oh, the heart’s desire! You’re going to fall in LOVE with these towels!
Weave four beautiful heart towels on your 8-shaft loom. The advancing twill pattern provides the heart borders, and then the body of the towel is woven with a fancy twill that creates a “sweet” texture. We have included yarn and instructions to make two pink towels and two red towels using our 10/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarns. The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 16” x 24”.

Star Spangled Towel Instructions/WIF
Just in time for your summer picnic! These instructions will help you weave four towels that are as American as apple pie on your 8-shaft loom! The overshot pattern is a modified “Star of Bethlehem”. The finished sizes of the towels are approximately 16” x 29”.
You can choose just the instructions or include the WIF files too. For this project, there are two WIF files for towels with two blue stripes and towels with 3 blue stripes. All picks are included in the WIF files.

Over The Moon Towel Kit
Oh! How we love hemp dishtowels! These are pretty enough for company (or those special gifts!) and sure to be a favorite at home for their brilliant colors and absorbency. These overshot wonders are a combination of Tubular Spectrum™ cotton and our Lyte™ Hemp yarns, the best combination for absorbent towels. Jean Jordan adapted a draft from Sharon Alderman’s book Mastering Weave Structures, page 136 when she designed these lovely towels. Kit makes 3 towels.

American Maid™ Unmercerized White Cotton Yarn
Natural white, sustainably produced, unmercerized cotton yarn. Perfect for all your soft handwoven items. Strong enough for warp in any of the sizes, and soft and absorbent for anything you can dream up. It makes wonderful towels, baby blankets, napkins, or cuddly throws.
*As of 2022, the 20/2 size is only available as a NON-American Made yarn. The cotton in the 20/2 yarn currently comes from Egypt. All the other yarn sizes are 100% American Made.
10/2 American Maid™ Naturally Colored Yarn
Sustainably grown, colorful cotton yarn straight from American cotton fields to you! This American made yarn is available in the colors that it is grown in, no dye required! Available in: Brown, Green, Natural White (the color of “white” cotton before it is bleached) and Bleached White. Additionally, Natural White is also available in 6/2, 12/2 and 20/2*. Taking our inspiration from our favorite artists (Anni Albers, Ansel Adams, Piet Mondrian, Claude Monet, and Pierre-August Renoir) we designed this fun towel kit for 4 generous, towels with 3 colors of 10/2 Tubular Spectrum™ yarn. And you can choose your favorite colorway. Woven in 2 blocks to create a visually complex towel that is fun and easy to weave. Finished towels are approximately 18″ x 28″.
