Farmhouse Chic Towels Instructions


These 3 thick and thirsty waffle weave towels are a wonderful kitchen or bath coordinate.  Her granddaughter’s first apartment with its beautiful gray interior design inspired Lois to weave these towels to celebrate putting down roots in a new community. Included are her guidelines to help make your weaving a success.  Woven with 8/2 unmercerized cotton yarn.  Designed by Lois Scarborough.


Project Description 

  • 3 Dish Towels, approximately 17.5” x 25”  (finished size)
  • 4-shaft waffle weave
  • 24 EPI, 22 PPI
  • Warp length:  4 yards, 531 ends, 22.2” wide in reed

Equipment Needed 

  • 12 dent reed, a loom with at least 4 shafts, and at least a 22.2” weaving width.
  • 4 shuttles, 6 bobbins
