The newest member of the “Au Natural” kits line from DJE Handwovens–a set of 4 napkins. This kit again features the soft American Maid cotton yarns. There is enough yarn for 4 napkins or 2 towels.
The napkins have 2 color and weave patterns-one for the border and one for the body. Instructions are included to change the combinations.
Two colorways: Natural/Brown and Natural/Green.
Project Description
- 4 Napkins (13” square) or 2 Towels (13” x 26”)
- 2-shaft log cabin
- 10 EPI, 10 PPI
- Warp length of 94 inches (2.61 yards) allows 52 inches woven length for 4 napkins OR 2 towels plus 12 inches for tie-on and shrinkage, and 20 inches of thrum waste.
- 15” wide in reed
Equipment Needed
- Rigid Heddle loom or a loom with at least 2-shafts
- 15” weaving width.
- 10 dent rigid heddle or reed
Contents of Kit:
- Prewound warp made from 3/2 American Maid Unmercerized Cotton Yarn
- Enough 3/2 weft yarn to weave 4 napkins or 2 towels
