These soft, sustainable towels are quick and easy to weave on your rigid heddle loom. Make yourself a fabulous thick and sustainable towel that is a pleasure to hold onto!
We include instructions for weaving one towel using plain weave, and one towel using a pickup stick. If you don’t want to use a pickup stick, you can weave the towels in plain weave. Scroll down for more information.
Project Description:
- 2 towels: 13” x 22” (finished dimensions)
- 14.3” wide in reed, 10 EPI, 10 PPI
- 3/2 and 6/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn
Contents of Kit:
- 1- 1.5 oz cone 3/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn each: Green, Brown
- 1- 1.5 oz cone 6/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn: Natural
- 1- 8 oz cone 3/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn: Natural
Equipment Needed:
- Rigid Heddle Loom with at least 15-inch weaving width
- 10-dent heddle
- Pickup stick
- Stick or boat shuttle
