Tubular Spectrum™ yarns are 100% mercerized cotton yarns, available in 46 vivid, intense and very color fast colors. The yarns will withstand years of washing and will keep your handwoven treasures looking bright and colorful! 3/2 American Maid™ Naturally Colored Yarn
Sustainably grown, colorful cotton yarn straight from American cotton fields to you! This American made yarn is available in the colors that it is grown in, no dye required! Available in: Brown, Green, Natural White (the color of “white” cotton before it is bleached) and Bleached White. Additionally, Natural White is also available in 6/2, 12/2 and 20/2*. Color gamps are a brilliant way to explore color interactions. They will help you predict future color interactions and take the guess work out of project planning. This kit contains the original twenty Tubular Spectrum™ bright and brilliant colors and includes instructions to weave color gamps!

Weekend Washcloths
Looking for a quick project to use the wonderful 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ yarns? How about a pile of washcloths from three brilliant colors of yarn? Three colors of yarn build an interesting warp that you can weave with a solid weft or make fun plaids. The finished sizes of the washcloths are approximately 10” x 10”. Kit makes 6 washcloths and includes three 4 oz cones of 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ Mercerized Yarn and complete instructions for Rigid Heddle or 4-shaft looms.

Gradient Placemat Instructions
Gradient Placemats will add zing to your table. The placemats are woven with 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn. Both the napkin and placemats have instructions for either shaft looms or rigid heddle looms. Makes 3 placemats. Each of the colorways use the same draft but includes different pictures to show off the different colors of yarn.

Gradients for Your Table
Weave coordinating Napkin and Placemats using visual gradients with 2 colors in the warp. The napkins are woven with 10/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn, and the placemats are woven with 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn. Each kit contains enough yarn for warp and weft and has multiple color options. Both the napkin and placemats have instructions for either shaft looms or rigid heddle looms.

10 Color Gamp Instructions
Gamps are a brilliant way to explore color interactions. They will help you predict future color interactions and take the guess work out of project planning. This set of instructions will guide you through weaving three-four 10 color gamps. The instructions are for our Bright Tubular Spectrum yarns. You can substitute any 10 colors of Mercerized cotton yarn that you would like when weaving the gamps.
Available in 20/2, 10/2, 5/2, and 3/2 yarns. Rigid heddle instructions are included with the 3/2 yarns.

American Maid Wash Cloth Kit
Looking for a quick project to make for gifts or to give yourself a little indulgence? How about everything you need to make some soft, naturally colored washcloths? We have included instructions to make these washcloths on either a rigid heddle loom or a 4-shaft loom. The washcloths are made with natural white as the warp and colors for the weft. The finished sizes of the washcloths are approximately 10” x 10”. You can choose to make 2 or 10 washcloths.
20 Color Gamp for Rigid Heddle Looms
Use your Rigid Heddle Loom to weave 20 gorgeous colors into color gamps. Learn about color interactions in weaving and make beautiful cloth! This kit contains all the 3/2 or 5/2 mercerized cotton yarns you need to weave 2 color gamps. American Maid Sampler
Have a sample of the finest American Maid™, Naturally Colored Cotton Yarns. All of the yarns are made from colors of cotton that come straight from the plant. Add some baking soda to your wash water and watch the colors deepen. All samplers come with 1.5 oz cones of natural white, dark brown, light brown, dark green, light green and bleached white yarns. There is enough yarn to weave a couple napkins, or add a cone of white to the sampler kit, and weave a towel in each of the 5 colors of yarn! Instructions for specific projects are not included in the sampler, but we do have instructions available. Click here for more information.
