This placemat kit from DJE Handwovens features our American Maid™ naturally color cotton yarn. The kit contains enough yarn to weave four placemats. As with all DJE Handwoven kits, the warp is prewound ready to go directly on your loom. Choose either green or brown yarns to suit your tastes.
These 4 placemats come ready to weave…put the prewound warp chain on your loom, thread your heddles, and weave away.
Project Description:
- 4 Placemats woven in Plain Weave: Finished size for each placemat (after hemming) is 12.5″ W x 16.5″ L.
- Rigid Heddle or other 2 shaft loom with 15″ weaving width.
- Pre-wound warp in 3/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn ready to go on your loom.
- Warp length of 106 inches (2.94 yards) allows for 80 inches of woven length (20 inches woven length per placemat including hems, shrinkage and tie-on allowance of 12 inches, and 20 inches thrum waste).
- 10 EPI, 10 PPI
