This gorgeous shadow weave scarf was designed, spun and woven by Rebecca Winter and shown in Spin Off Magazine Winter 2025 issue! Woven on 6-shafts, this shadow weave scarf is a great way to use your own handspun cotton yarn, or if you don’t want to spin the yarn, 8/2 cotton is a close substitute. We have collected the sliver or yarn needed for this project, and you can choose to order either a sliver or yarn collection. The instructions are not included with the yarns or the EZ spin sliver. Project Description:
- 1 scarf
- Finished Scarf: 7″ x 66″ plus 4″ fringe on both sides
- 8.5″ wide in reed, 20 EPI, 20 PPI
- 6-shaft draft
Equipment Needed:
- Shaft Loom with at least 6-shafts
- 10 dent reed, or reed to get to 20 EPI
- 2 shuttles

- EZ-Spin Naturally Colored Sliver, Green, 4 oz package
