This towel kit from DJE Handwovens features American Maid™ naturally colored cotton yarn (natural white yarn for the warp with either dark green or dark brown for the weft). The resulting towels are silky soft and absorbent that are a pleasure to use! And the colors deepen with washing! The kit contains enough yarn to weave two towels and has instructions to weave them on an 8-shaft loom.
Project Description:
- Weave Two Towels in Shadow Weave. Towels are approximately 15.5 W x 21″ L when finished.
- 8-shaft draft.
- Pre-wound warp in 8/2 American Maid™ unmercerized cotton yarn ready to go on your loom.
- Warp length is 84 inches allowing for woven length of 27 inches per towel (including hems), 8 inches shrinkage/tie-on and 20 inches of thrum waste.
- 16 EPI, 16 PPI

Equipment needed:
- 8-shaft loom with at least 18-inch weaving width
- 8 dent reed.
- 2 boat shuttle and bobbins.
Kit Includes:
- One prewound warp, all the weft yarn to weave the towels and instructions.
