We can’t seem to make enough of these mug rugs! We have designed these mug rugs to show off a fun log cabin Color-and-Weave threading and provide lots of options for weaving. And it’s a perfect short warp to practice warping your loom. Choose Carnival or Ocean colorway from the menu below.

Project Description:
- 10 Mug Rugs, approximately 4”x 5” finished size.
- 20 EPI, varied PPI, 5” wide in reed
- 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn, 8/16 Repp Filler Yarn.
Yarn Needed:
Carnival Colorway:
- Two 4 oz cones of 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ Mercerized Cotton Yarn: 10 Purple, 10 Green Yellow.
- Thick Weft: We suggest: 8/16 Repp Filler Yarn or ½” fabric strips or bundles of thrums (left over warp yarns from another project).
Ocean Colorway:
- Two 4 oz cones of 3/2 Tubular Spectrum™ Mercerized Cotton Yarn: Sea Green, 5 Blue.
- Thick Weft: We suggest: 8/16 Repp Filler Yarn or ½” fabric strips or bundles of thrums (left over warp yarns from another project).
Equipment Needed:
- 4-shaft Loom with at least 5” weaving width, 10 dent reed.
- Boat shuttle and bobbins for fine weft and a Rag, Ski or Stick Shuttle for heavy weft.
