Play with color in this 8-shaft false Damask 2 towel kit featuring 4 colors of our Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton yarn. The towels are woven on the same warp, just change the weft color for the large blocks on the second towel. The false damask creates blocks of color that appear to be woven together! And with the warp already wound, it’s a fun, fast, easy weave.

Project Description
- 2 Hand Towels woven in an 8-shaft False Damask, approximately 15” x 22” (finished size)
- Pre-wound warp in 5/2 Tubular Spectrum™ mercerized cotton ready to go on your loom.
- Warp length is 84 inches allowing 27 inches woven length per towel plus 10 inches shrinkage/tie-on and 20 inches thrum waste.
- 20 EPI, 20 PPI
- Warp length: 84″, allows for 20″ loom waste
- 17” wide in reed
Equipment Needed
- 10 dent reed, a loom with at least 8-shafts, and at least a 22.2” weaving width.
- 2 shuttles

- Prewound warp made from 5/2 Tubular Spectrum Mercerized Cotton Yarn
- Enough 5/2 weft yarn to weave both towels
