Double layers of 10/2 mercerized cotton yarn, a little elastic yarn and 4-shafts weave into a delightful textured, scrunchy scarf. Ripples Scarf Yarn Collection
Add some texture to your wardrobe! Denise Kovnat designed and wove this beautiful scarf featured in the November/December 2022 issue of Handwoven Magazine. It uses 20/2 Tubular Spectrum mercerized cotton and S-twist Linen Crepe Yarn to make an elegant scarf. We have created this yarn collection with the right amounts of all three yarns to make one or two scarves.

Elastic Ramie Yarn – GevolveYarns
This lovely Ramie yarn has 13% Lycra® so it is a very elastic yarn once it has been washed. These yarns can be used for both warp and weft for creating interestingly textured fabrics. If you use it for warp, it needs to be under tension at all times.

We have this lively silk yarn with 30% shrinkage. These yarns can be used for both warp and weft for creating interestingly textured fabrics.

Silk Crepe Yarn- GevolveYarns
We have this lovely 100% Silk Crepe Yarn available in Z Twist. This yarn has about 1800 TPM (Turns per Meter). It can be used for both warp and weft for creating crepe fabrics.

Linen Crepe Yarn- GevolveYarns
We have this lovely 100% Linen Crepe Yarn available in Natural in both an S and Z Twist. The S Twist variation is more tightly twisted with 1550 TPM (Turns per Meter) and the Z Twist has 700 TPM. This can be used for both warp and weft for creating crepe fabrics.
