This is an easy-to-use elastic Ramie Yarn!

This yarn has a sizing on it so that when you are winding bobbins and weaving with it, it behaves beautifully and does not stretch.  When you wash the finished fabric, the elastic magic happens and the fabric will pucker and become elastic.

It has many uses:

• Weaving: Can be used as warp or weft for collapse weave fabrics.
• If you want to use it for warp, please wind on the loom under tension, and please warp back to front only. You want to ensure the stability of the warp and prevent it from showing it’s potentially lively side before you are ready for it to be lively.
• Please know that you need some experience with active yarns to successfully use this in your warp.  It is a thin yarn!

• 87% Ramie, 13% Lycra®
• Available on 1 oz cones
• 1 oz cone has approximately 860 yards
• 13,760 yards per pound

• Handwash in warm water
