Spun silk: 140/2 (35,000 yard per lb)
When the last American silk mill closed, we were lucky to get these colors of 140/2 spun silk. This fine silk yarn is available on wooden bobbins that were used at the mill. The silk on the bobbins weighs between 4 and 10 oz (we do not charge you for the weight of the bobbins). We also have a limited supply of colors available on approximately 4 oz cones.
