We received a load of this wonderful 100% hemp yarn. It is only available in bleached white. Hemp when it is bleached is a creamy sort of color because the natural color of hemp is gray/brown. This Hemp 2 ply yarn is a perfect companion for 10/2 cotton. Works beautifully as both warp and weft. Available while quantities last.

Natural 2 Ply Hemp
This yarn is the natural gray/brown color of hemp. It is a bit more rustic than the bleached hemp listed above, but it weaves up wonderfully, and towels made from this yarn keep getting better as you wash them. Wonderfully strong and makes a nice warp. Or, try it as weft on a 10/2 cotton warp and prepare to be amazed.

3 Ply Hemp
We now carry this wonderful 100% hemp yarn. This Hemp 3 ply yarn is a long line wetspun yarn with great drape and longevity. It comes in a range of vibrant colors that are dyed with reactive dyes and are mercerized for colorfastness. It's perfect for delicate lace, summer clothing, and items for the home. This yarn is a fingering weight which is approximately the same as 5/2 cotton, a perfect weft yarn for clothing, towels, overshot. The hemp weaves similarly to linen, but this yarn is much softer and more supple. It washes and polishes beautifully with ironing. It also doesn't fuzz while you are weaving with it. Comes in 50 g skeins with 165 yards per skein. Made in China.

This is the same Hemp 3 ply sized yarn as shown in colors above, just available in a 1 lb cone. This yarn has approximately 1800 yards per pound. Available in Classic: natural hemp color, and Pearl: lightly bleached yarn. Use this with the colors above thrown in for accents. Sett it at 15 for lace weaves and plain weave, 18 for twills. Made in Romania.
